Inkabi Zezwe gives back to the community with a back-to-school initiative

KwaZulu-Natal-based music group Inkabi Zezwe, which is made of musicians Sjava (born Jabulani Hadebe), and Big Zulu (born Siyabonga Nene) joined forces with Warner Music and Hollywood for their initiative of giving back to the community.

In a video the duo shared on their social media page, they explained that the initiative is to emphasise the importance of education and motivate the children to have a successful academic year.

Taking to Instagram, Big Zulu shared pictures of himself and Sjava seen with the children from the school they visited in Bergville.

In his caption, he wrote, “Namhlanje iNkabi Zezwe sivakashele esinye sekole zangakith eBergville sibahambisele izinto zesikole ukuze baqhubeke baye phambili (Today we visited one of the schools from home in Bergville to give them school essentials to promote them to go further).”

He concluded his caption, “Sibambisene neWarner Music and Hollywood. Siyabonga kakhulu. (As Inkabi Zezwe in partnership with Warner Music and Hollywood, we would like to thank you).”

Fans and supporters commented, “Keep up the philanthropy work.”

“Uyancomeka imsebenzi eniyenzayo bo bhuti uMdali Kanye nabaphansi bazonandisela (You guys are doing a great job, may God and ancestors bless you),” wrote another user.

Another one said: “Sjava nawe ubhuti Bigzulu dankie maqhawe muhle umsebenzi madoda (thank you, kings, you are doing a great job) I like the way you are all so humble and also you never forget the young ones that support and love the music and message you give with your talented music skills.”

The user added, “Giving back to the home ground souls gives a lot more, especially to the community of Bergville and ancestors don’t stop guys, keep going, we are proud of you and we learn a lot from your steps.”
