Reality star and controversial influencer, Inno Morolong has been sentenced to 12 months of house arrest with strict restrictions on her travels and activities.
This is after the Randburg Magistrate’s Court found her guilty of Crimen Injuria and defamation, bringing to an end the widely publicised feud between her and social media influencer, Tebogo Thobejane.
The feud that ended in court first rose from a heated argument between ex friends in 2023, when Inno went live on Instagram and accused Tebogo of being a scammer, sex worker, pimp and muthi user.
Under the terms of house arrest, Inno will be isolated in her residence, in Welkom for a year. While confined, she is barred from travelling outside Welkom; she has also been prohibited from consuming alcohol or drugs for the duration of her house arrest period. The ruling also includes a restriction that prohibits her from travelling to Johannesburg.

Speaking to Times Live about the rulling, Tebogo said: “We are happy that she will begin her rehabilitation process. However, we must acknowledge that having to submit to a parole officer for five years simply because she attempted to defame someone who did nothing wrong is rather odd.
“She needs to engage in PR to ensure her daughter no longer suffers, but everyone is observing her apparent lack of remorse. Do not underestimate the criminal justice system just because you are outside. People are waiting for your downfall. She will go to court again for another matter in Welkom, so let’s see if perhaps God humbles her.”
