Leslie Jonathan Mampe Jr, known to many as the rapper Da L.E.S, celebrated his 38th birthday with a Playboy Mansion-themed party. Many celebs were in attendance, including AKA’s father Tony Forbes and rapper Yanga Chief.
Other celebs on the guest list who celebrated Da L.E.S in style included rapper and podcaster L-Tido, record producer and DJ Oscar Mbo, DJ and fashion designer Don Design, and award-winning PR specialist Lerato Sengadi Tsambo to name a few.
Sharing his lavish-looking birthday bash pictures on Instagram, the South African-American rapper can be seen wearing a smart salmon-coloured blazer with a black shirt, pants, shoes and shades.

A few weeks before his birthday, Da L.E.S and others were accused of sexually assaulting a woman named Carlene Brown De Jongh. Sharing a statement on Twitter, Da L.E.S refuted the claims, calling it “defamatory, hurtful and wrong.”
The statement also notes that a criminal case of defamation has been instituted and is under investigation by the South African Police Services.
