When she got back from the vacation, Lamiez also took time to her social media to share that she had mommy guilt after leaving her baby home:
“As for the mommy guilt? The worst!!! but I found comfort in knowing that my son was in good hands, ten million video calls, him kissing me through the phone after seeing his dad do it? Priceless!” she said.
She also stated, “Sometimes even superheroes need time out ❤️ This trip was so close to my heart and here’s why – I needed a break. I needed timeout and needed to be selfish just this once so that I can continue to be selfless. Society makes it seem taboo that a woman, a daughter, sister, a wife, a mom – new mom at that – would need time away but it takes remembering that you are YOU before all these other titles. That resting and resetting is necessary and doesn’t take away from you wearing all these hats. The past week is just what my soul needed ❤️.”
