While most people would choose a tropical island to go to for their family vacation, legendary TV presenter Leanne Manas opted for the chilly, scenic holiday destination of Iceland.
Taking to her social media platforms to share her experience of the country, the Morning Live anchor first wrote, “Guys I’m in Iceland and it’s flipping unbelievable. In just one day … I found a message on a wall in Reykjavik. Found my guardian angel (a white feather) randomly waiting for me on an empty black beach. We soaked in a geothermal pool naturally heating to 40 degrees and drove through the night with sun shining overhead until we reached our location in a secluded village perched on a mountain overlooking a glacier.

Leanne also shared with fans that at 23:00, she spotted “horses with mullets” on the side of the road with her daughter Gabriella. She captioned her post, “In and amongst the magnificence of Iceland – I have found these Icelandic horses and they absolutely rock! Check them out ????.”

Leanne also shared beautiful images that look like they came straight out of a painting. “It’s mysterious, beautiful, rugged, breathtaking, soul enriching, life affirming at every turn you take!” she wrote.

Finally, the mom of two shared that her breath was taken away by the blue glaciers before her.
She added, “I watched ‘diamonds’ glisten on an Icelandic black beach where we drank Scottish whiskey with one of those salty diamonds. Found a red roofed church in a tiny village that overlooked the magnificent three black basalt columns called the Reynisdrangar protruding from the stormy North Atlantic. Legend has it that the rocks are three trolls. All that was actually real and not a dream ??.”
