Still in the spirit of praising God for what he has done for her, Sophie Ndaba has been sharing her restoration story, hoping to bring light and motivate those in situations similar to hers.
The actress and events planner who was once among the most booked wedding planners in the country, hit rock bottom a few years ago leading her into depression, and struggles with health issues.
Opening up on how God restored her life when many thought she was dying and how she is now indebted to him, Sophie has shared in interviews how she depended on friends and family for financial and emotional support.
In an interview with Zanele Mbokazi for Ukhozi FM, Sophie commented:
“I went into depression before my skinny pictures started trending, without even realising that I had lost weight. I didn’t work for three years; my kids were fed by family and friends,”
Sharing a video of a gospel music festival she attended and spoke at; Sophie captioned her social media post saying:
“Intentional God, I thank you. In this new season, I thank you for the time spent with family and friends in your presence. In this New Season, you’re showing up and showing off, I continue to declare decree, no weapon formed against me will prosper. They whispered they joked, but you had and still have the last word, Lord. I fear no man, but only You, King of Kings. Grant me strength as I start the work you have mandated me to pursue, all eyes on you lord.!!?. I give you the glory and honor, in Jesus’ name, Amen??.”
