With reproductive rights speaking for women in South Africa and clearly stating that a woman has a right to terminate their pregnancy at under 13 weeks pregnant, internet feminists were irked to find that most people are not educated on this matter.
This follows after an Instagram user alleged to be a musician, Odwa Situma popular as Dee Kaola’s ex-lover; leaked conversations between them with intentions of exposing the musician for allegedly having an abortion.
The screenshots of Instagram stories from the username Yonkiminqweno made rounds on socials causing a stir, as internet users had different views on this matter.
Hinting about the abortion, Yonkiminqweno wrote on the Instagram story and said: “So apparently, I was trying to trap her by wanting being against ‘back to sender?’ Okay shap.”
On another one he shared a dog was captured with a caption that stated: “This girl made me buy a dog to substitute for the first abortion to fill that void, kanti uzondiphinda (only for her to do it again).”
Internet users took to X (formerly Twitter) to support the artist.

I know a man that wants to ruin your career with pregnancy when I see one. You know the kind to slow you down to either humble you or ruin your life? Happy that Dee Koala has the options to opt out of that mess.
