Internet users react to Thuli P and DJ Maphorisa performing together

Internet users were shocked after seeing a video of Thuli P and DJ Maphorisa performing together at a club.

Thuli Phongolo, who is an actress and DJ, had been rumoured to be dating record producer and DJ Themba Sonnyboy Sekowe, popularly known as DJ Maphorisa.

As reported by TshisaLIVEΒ last year, things between the rumoured couple turned sour after the actress opened a case of alleged assault on the DJ.

These assault allegations came about when DJ Maphorisa was reported to have hit Thuli at a Sandton apartment during what seemed to be an altercation. The incident allegedly resulted in the actress opening a case where the record producer was charged with assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

The publication reports that the charges were later withdrawn by Thuli and DJ Maphorisa was never prosecuted but fined R5000,00.

In a recent video posted on X (formerly Twitter), the DJs are seen performing live at a gig. This video sparked an array of reactions from internet users as after the assault allegations, they alluded that DJ Maphorisa was abusive.
