Radio and TV personality Mthokozisi ‘MaBlerh’ Cele recently hosted the season four of the Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) re-union special. However, it seems that internet users were not impressed this time.

The reunion aired in two parts with the host reflecting on the most-talked-about scenes throughout the season, and although the season was good, the reunion seems to have hit the mark as many internet users felt that he was being biased throughout the show.

MaBlerh’s hosting skills were put to the test with many internet users feeling like he was too objective this season with the way he dealt with resolving conflicts between the ladies.

There were also allegations that Soirsha’s husband Vivaan might have had a conversation with the ladies to leave his wife alone as Maria’s husband Neil apologised to the businesswoman after throwing around a lot of allegations and making rude comments throughout the show.

Internet users on X (formerly known as Twitter) took to the platform to share their thoughts on MaBlerh’s hosting skills with some even recommending suggestions of who they think would have been able to get the job done.

One user said:

The host is kinda not hosting for me🥺. An entire episode and nobody even cried.

Another user suggested radio host and presenter Thembekile.

Thembekile will very good host since we are not getting Phat Joe back #RhoDurban pic.twitter.com/R89AjnUHnf

Another user commented:

The one thing I will agree with the host on, is that they are all the Villains. They do the same stuff. I don’t know why everyone puts that tag on Nonku when all of these ladies move funny. Nonku is just the only one who does not hide her hand. She’s uncalculated#RHODurban pic.twitter.com/GJmiQ7Z60j
