Following the recent court appearance of five suspects allegedly involved in the brutal killing of Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes and Tabello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane, AKA’s father Tony is not fully at peace with the current progress.
According to the father of two the real mastermind behind the hit might still be roaming in public, while those who carried it out are now behind bars.
Speaking to the media recently following their first court appearance, Tony was asked whether he was satisfied with police saying that the alleged mastermind was among the accused who have been arrested.
To this he responded by saying that the police probably meant the co-ordinator was arrested, further adding that the money paid must have come from somewhere.
“So, the coordinator if I understand things correctly, received a sum of money and shared it with six other people. Where did that money come from?
Meanwhile, he doesn’t believe that SAPS have found the true mastermind.
“So, if it came through the banking system then the police should be able to pick up the trail and find out where it came from and continue the investigation from there. So is this the true mastermind? I don’t know, my gut feeling says no.”
Furthermore, Tony told news publication Eye Witness News that he is happy that there has been a bit of breakthrough in the case.
“I am satisfied that they have done the best that they could. Some things could have been done better, but I am pleased with it.”
