Digital content creator and founder of Doro Mongy Empire, whose real name is Mongy Semakaleng Mathobela, has gone under fire for allegedly venturing into selling Ozempic injections.
As summer drives people to gyms and running clubs, some people tend to take more extreme measures to achieve their ultimate body goals.
The entrepreneur who sells everything from skincare products to gym sets and beauty products could now be adding something else to her list. The only thing is that this particular item can’t be sold to just anyone or by anyone.
The South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) has urged people to not to buy unauthorised products containing Ozempic as the drug should be used as a diabetes treatement and not as a weightloss treatment.
The hub also emphasised the shortage of these injections as some people consuming them want to lose weight, adding that this has caused an increase of fake products on the black market.
Controversial blogger Musa Khawula posted that the content creator was allegedly selling these injections for R23k, causing many X (formerly known as Twitter) users to state that it was illegal and caused many side effects.

People who sell or use ozempic despite not being diabetic are so selfish. People with actual diabetes who actually need this medication are complaining of the shortage of it available because people who refuse to go to the gym are guzzling it.
