Last year’s Miss South Africa runner-up Bryoni Govender is pulling out all the stops to ensure that she walks away with the top crown at the Miss Supranational beauty pageant later this year in Poland.
The event which is scheduled to take place on the 6th of July will see the 27-year-old law attorney compete against dozens of women from all over the world to claim the top prize.
In an official statement released by Miss SA, she revealed she is beyond eager to get onto the stage and impress the judges with her capabilities.
Bryoni further added that she has made the most of her time away from the runway to invest in herself by seeking ways to develop her approach to each of the competitions she is involved in.
“I am incredibly excited and honoured to have the opportunity to participate in the upcoming Miss Supranational competition. I have been working tirelessly to prepare myself both mentally and physically for the competition.”

Speaking on how exactly she managed to get herself prepared, she added: “These preparations have included intense training sessions to enhance my physical fitness, catwalk, poise and stage presence. I have also been working with top-notch trainers to improve my communication skills and develop a strong and impactful voice.”
She has added that the most important thing for her when preparing for any competition is to have a positive and healthy mindset.
She further highlighted that the love received from fellow South Africans on this journey has been nothing short of amazing.
“Their encouragement, positive messages and unwavering belief have fuelled my determination.
“To every person who has cheered me on, sent kind words or simply believed in my dream, thank you. You are not just spectators; you are part of this adventure.”
