Despite being ordered by the court to remain homebound, the controversial author Jackie Phamotse is proving that she can continue making a living for herself from the comfort of her couch.
This comes after the news and entertainment publication The Citizen recently reported that Jackie, who is also a philanthropist and inspirational speaker, is set to launch her 11th book, which is set to reach the shelves just in time for Women’s Month this August.
The news comes within three months after she was sentenced to two years of house arrest, following a defamation case involving businesswoman and former Miss South Africa Basetsana Kumalo and her husband Romeo.
This after Jackie took to X (formerly known as Twitter) alleging that the couple was involved in a three-some sex tape.
TshisaLive reported that Jackie, real name Katleho Jaqueline Phamotse, was later found guilty on four charges — including defamation, crimen injuria, and violating a protection order.
Taking to Instagram, she shared the cover of her latest romantic thriller titled The Tea Merchant.
