The African National Congress has summoned former President Jacob Gedleyihlekisa Zuma to the party’s disciplinary committee set to take place at the Luthuli House on Tuesday, May 7th.
This move is a step taken by the ruling party just days before the country is to embark on its seventh democratic elections. which are set to take place on the 29th of May.
Jacob Zuma is currently campaigning for of the newly formed uMkhonto we Sizwe political party as he is on their candidate list for the upcoming elections.
The news of the summon come just after the ANC took MK to court over the use of uMkhonto we Sizwe as it was ‘neglected’ wing of the ANC.
MK shared Msholozi’s summon news on the party’s social media platform X, an app that was formerly known as Twitter.
Announcing this, the party wrote:
“Please be informed of the following: The ANC Disciplinary Committee has called President Zuma for a hearing as follows: Date: Tuesday, 07 May 2024: Time: 10H00: Venue: 6th floor Boardroom, Luthuli House, Pixley ka Seme Street, JHB.”

After the summon news made it on social media platforms, internet users voiced their opinions with many saying the polygamous leader should not go to Luthili House.
