After uplifting thousands of fans with their harmonious melodies and angelical voices, the renowned singing group, Joyous Celebrations has made it clear that their desire to plough into the nation is far from over.
This year marks the 28th anniversary of the popular singing group, and to make this year even more memorable, the group is planning on giving back by having one-on-one sessions with church choirs from all over the country.
The aim is to help churches by providing them with valuable advice on how they can advance the quality of music within the house of God.

Speaking to the news and entertainment publication Daily Sun, the choir director Lindelani Mkhize provided more insight on what they hope to achieve.
“In celebration of 28 years, each of our ministers is waiting for an invitation from your churches, wherever you are. They’re ready to come and impart knowledge. They’ll teach your choirs and groups everything.”
Lindelani added that these visitations will all take place between August and September this year. Those interested in advancing their church choirs are encouraged to reach out to the group via their social media platforms.
“Call us, invite us. We want to train young people. We’re ready to train people,” he said.
Since landing on South African radio frequencies and television screens they have been at the forefront of bringing hope by releasing tons of well-known hits such as I Can Do All Things, and I Am The Winner and have become a household name in the South African Gospel genre.
This has seen them win dozens of awards from the SAMA to the Metro FM and Crown Gospel Awards.
Reflecting on how they managed to continue standing after 28 years, Lindelani explained that it was not easy – but that God has been good.
“We’ve stayed true to the vision, which was to give young, unknown, and raw talent an opportunity. To teach, impart, grow, and give them a platform to showcase what they can be.
“People come here with no names. They leave here as stars and celebs, and we change their lives. I love working with unknown people and fresh talent,” he concluded.
