EFF leader Julius Malema responded to criticism about a video showing him with a leaking nose during the launch of the party’s manifesto in Durban.
Social media users speculated about drug abuse or health concerns.
I did a final 360 degree walk about. This was at 2pm before @Julius_S_Malema spoke at the @EFFSouthAfrica #EFFManifestoLaunch2024.

Malema countered the accusations, attributing the issue to heavy rainfall triggering his sinuses.
He expressed gratitude for the concern and said that despite the incident, the event was successful.
“Thank you so much for your concern, fellow brothers and sisters; I don’t have flu.
“The heavy wind and rain activated my sinuses, and I thought the rain was running through my face kante I was heavily attacked”.
