Congratulations are in order for award-winning singer, Kelly Khumalo, who gave birth to a baby girl this week.
According to ZiMoja, Kelly shares her child with former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, Mthokozisi Yende. The pair have allegedly been dating for a few years.
Kelly’s eldest two children – son Christian, shared with Uyajola 9/9 host, Jub Jub, and Thingo, the daughter of the late Bafana Bafana captain, Senzo Meyiwa – are said to be excited to hold their little sister.
The publication also confirmed the news, saying a friend close to the Khumalo family confirmed how happy everyone is about the exciting arrival. The friend had also mentioned that Kelly had a C-section in Johannesburg a few days ago.
“Nccooh! She is beautiful. Kelly’s mom is the happiest. She loves all her grandchildren,” states the friend. “…[W]e are Africans and Kelly is a modern but traditional woman, so she will be indoors for some time before announcing the birth. Past experiences have also taught her to protect what is important to her.”
It seems Kelly will not stay inside for too long. She took to Instagram to announce two shows happening on 28 and 29 April in Moruleng, North West and Hatfield, Gauteng, respectively.
She captioned one of the posts, saying, “Kings never take a break they ask what’s next?”
