Multi-Award winning singing sensation Kelly Khumalo has come victorious again after bagging the Afro Pop Artist of the year title at the Annual Basadi in Music Awards ceremony over the weekend.
Kelly who won the award for ‘Akathintwa‘ was up against Brenda Mtambo for ‘Enzakwenzeke’, Lioness Mohoje for ‘Dipotso’ , Lwah Ndlunkulu for ‘Ngiyeza’, Nomfundo Moh for ‘Izibusiso’.
The event took place on Saturday 12, at the Joburg Theatre. Singer Unathi Nkayi was the night’s host with performances by Msaki, Winnie Khumalo, Tamara Dey, Maleh, Vicky Sampson and many more.
