South African singer Kelly Khumalo’s Gospel Explosion concert has been postponed.
The talented star with a golden voice has undoubtedly been topping Twitter trends as of recent. The postponement announcement comes just a few weeks after she was dropped from two events she was scheduled to perform at. Both events stated their need to safeguard the festivals after the Voice of Africa received a lot of public backlash, following new testimonies in Senzo Meyiwa murder trial.
Little is known when The Kelly Khumalo Gospel Explosion show will be held. However, the singer and songwriter took to her Instagram timeline where she captioned the postponement post saying: “New date will be announced soon.”
The show was set to take place this Saturday at the State Theatre’s Drama Theatre in Pretoria.

Many people flooded her comment section as they expressed their disappointment with the show’s postponement.
