Former Isidingo and Scandal actress Kgomotso Christopher is excited as she’s about to embark on a new journey in the popular soapie Generations: The Legacy.
The SABC confirmed the news in a statement that praised the talented actress for her outstanding work throughout the years.
“The multiple award-winning actress boasts a long list of impressive credits on-screen and on-stage. Audiences who have become accustomed to her accomplished performances can expect her to bring her usual sophistication to the role of Keabetswe Moloi,” the statement read.
The 44-year-old actress will be portraying the role of Keabetswe Moloi, the twin sister of Khumo Moroka, played by Aubrey Poo.
Speaking about her latest venture, Kgomotso explained that she is looking forward to stepping into the shoes of her new character, adding that this is for those who have been supporting her work.
Meanwhile, Kgomotso is not the only one excited about the new journey; casting director Russel Savadier also shared his excitement.
“Kgomotso is one of the genuine leading ladies on television today. She’s always luminous and compelling to watch. We’ve wanted her to join the show for quite some time. I’m delighted that she’s agreed to join the Generations family,” he said.
“Kgomotso makes her debut on March 14, and we are looking forward to her continuing our rich legacy – providing viewers with the thrills, intrigue and drama they’ve come to love,” added Savadier.
