Award-winning actor, Kwenzokuhle Kwenzo Ngcobo has been cast with Ntando Zondi among others to star in an international film, Poacher’s Moon.
The duo will join the star-studded cast that includes other mzansi stars such as Muzi Mthabela, Thami Mngqolo and Hollywood actor, Stelio Sevante.
The Poacher’s Moon is produced and directed by international actor Tom Datnow, the film exudes themes of extreme poverty and rhino poaching, with unexpected plot twists. This upcoming film is set against the backdrop of two childhood friends with different racial and economic backgrounds who must become enemies as they fight for survival and the reclamation of lost innocence.
The film will be filmed in Kimberly, Northern Cape at Tom’s childhood farm where his friendship and bond with his late friend, Michael Brand first blossomed, according to DFA news.
Kwenzi has showcased his acting skills on Champions, Scandal! and The Wife to name a few. Meanwhile, Ntando is known for a character he played on Shaka Ilembe.
