Longwe Twala son of renowned musician and producer is set to make another court appearance in connection with theft and burglary.
This comes after a report by Sunday World previously revealed that Longwe and another one of Chicco’s sons Sello were previously arrested for theft.
The brothers have been arrested in connection with the disappearance of studio equipment at their father Chicco’s studio while he was in the United States.

However, Daily Sun reports that there was insufficient evidence against Sello which led to him being released while Longwe remained in custody.
According to the Daily Sun, the equipment stolen was worth thousands of rands. A disappointed Chicco later told the court how disappointed he was about their behaviour and placed the power in the hands of the law, adding that he would allow the law to take its course.
The above-mentioned publication further added that he opened up about Longwe’s behaviour as well as his drug addiction.
“I know he is a thief and a druggie. I wish he could change as I care about him as his father like any parent.”
While Longiwe has previously been in and out of rehab in the past, Chicco revealed that he would much rather see his son in jail than to see his life ruined by drugs.
It is reported that Longwe has been on drugs nearly two decades after initially experimenting in the early 2000’s.
