Taking time to look back and see how far you have come and the things you have archived that you worried about when you were younger is a beautiful feeling. South African actor and broadcaster Lusanda Mbane wrote a note to her younger self whilst she announced that she would be in the New York Fashion Week.
Taking to Instagram, the former Scandal actor posted two pictures of herself, and in her caption, she wrote, “Dear Younger Self, it turns out none of it was necessary.’
“Not the crash diets, not the starvation, not the diet pills, not the concoctions. None of the torture was necessary. None!,” she added.
She then added that on the 10th of the next month she will be in New York catwalking in the fashion week, “On 10th Feb, I will be catwalking the runway at New York Fashion Week alongside supermodels. Yes, all of me.”
“Along with the big bum, the sharp hips, the fupa, the kiss madolo. Konke! So it seems I was always enough, bekufuneka nje ndi-ZAZI. All of that for nothing. Kunjani makunje?” she concluded her caption.
