South African musician L’vovo Derrango spoke out after suffering a minor stroke.
The renowned musician was recently admitted to hospital after he suffered a stroke during a performance in Ndwedwe, KwaZulu-Natal.
According to TshisaLIVE, the musician had recalled the moment he was wrapping up his performance in Ndwedwe, KwaZulu-Natal, he told the publication that he felt dizzy and lost feeling on the left side of his body.
“ I was kept in hospital for so long because my blood pressure was too high so they had to stabilise it, but I am feeling much better,” he told the publication.
L’vovo’s speech has been affected by the stroke and he has a slight facial droop.
The musician also told the publication that he learnt to look after his body.
“When we work we tend to eat the wrong food on the streets. What I’ve learnt from this is to take care of myself and my body, not to overwork and to maintain a healthy diet.”
The musician could not bid a final farewell to his friend Mampintsha who was laid to rest on Friday, 30th December 2022.
Taking to his Instagram timeline, he shared a video of himself with his family dancing to the late Big Nuz’s song of the year Ngeke featuring DJ Yamza.
