AKA’s mother, Lynn Forbes marked the fourth-month anniversary of her son’s passing with a touching tribute.
It has been four months since South African rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, also known as AKA, was gunned down with his friend and celebrity chef Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane in Durban.
The mother of the slain rapper took to her Instagram timeline, where she shared an image of AKA and his daughter Kairo Forbes and left a heartbreaking caption to the clip, which left many of the late rapper’s fans emotional all over again.
She wrote, “At least you have his music and YouTube.”
“All I want are more of our private moments. It’s been four months since I heard you call me mom and I just can’t get used to never hearing you say it again.”

Lynn also praised her late son oh his parenting skills saying:
“Becoming a parent is an event. Discovering love and how to be loving is being a parent. I’m proud of how well you did that. Remembering you is the easiest thing to do. Missing you, every day, is a pain that will never go away. We love and miss you so much,” she wrote on her Instagram timeline.
The Megacy took to Lynn’s comment section as they showered her with comforting words.
“Kairo was definitely doing it better. May the almighty ease the pain in your heart and cover you during this time. The pain does get better with time,” wrote a fan.
Another fan wrote: “Sending love ❤️ hugs ? ? and kisses ? ? to u Mom.”
“May God give you strength to go on ?☹️,” wrote another fan.
