In a recent episode of Podcast and Chill with MacG, outspoken host Macgyver Mukwevho famously known as MacG, questioned why award-winning rapper Emtee, in his opinion, portrays himself as a victim.
Over an hour and twenty minutes into the show, Ghost Lady could be heard telling MacG and Sol Phenduka that Emtee revealed that he has been stuttering and suffering from speech problems.
In a tweet, the Pearl Thusi rapper stated, “Lately I’ve been stuttering and it’s something new I have to go check out what it is but I’m struggling with speech lately. I think my body is shutting down from everything I’ve been going through. I don’t wanna be a meme. I’ma have it checked out by a doctor though.”
Yeah no doubt. Lately I’ve been stuttering and it’s something new I have to go check out what it is but im struggling with speech lately. I think my body is shutting down from everything I’ve been going thru. I don’t wanna be a meme. I’ma have it checked out by a doctor tho https://t.co/kJzJMsFRRx

Responding to Ghost Lady, MacG asked, “Why does Emtee like this victim sh*t man? It’s always, ‘Hey my wife is beating me up, hey I’m this, I’m that’… Where’s the music, bro? Take it out on the music bro.”
MacG then said, “My thing is, every time we speak about Emtee on this show, it’s always like something victim-ish.”
Taking to Twitter, Emtee responded to an article by SA Hip Hop Mag regarding MacG’s comments.
Victim yani manje? K’mele ng’thule ng’sineke nale migodoyi or must just shut up even when I shouldn’t. They’ve all tried. I’ll never shut up n I’ll always stand up for myself cos who will!? https://t.co/JRCaX3c7j2
