Limpopo-born singer Makhadzi, real name Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona recently wowed internet users when she posted pictures of her makeup-free face.
This bold move by the award-winning artist was warmly welcomed by her followers who could not stop raving about how beautiful she looks naturally, even going as far as comparing her to international beauty standards by associating her beauty with that of the global icon, Beyoncé.
This is a nice gesture considering that Makhadzi was bullied for her looks for many years with many going as far as telling her that she was ugly.
The singer and record label owner even dedicated an anti-bullying song called Muvhili Wanga to Lufuno, a grade 10 learner from Limpopo who committed suicide after she was bullied at her school for her looks.
Sharing a video clip of her anti-bullying video on her social media, Makhadzi captioned her post:
“Please stop reminding me about how I look, I know and I am proud of myself.”
