After what may have been a busy 2024, newlyweds Manie and his wife Verna-Lee Libbok have decided to reward themselves with a trip to Asia.
Known for his scintillating abilities on the rugby field, Manie Libbok has become an integral part of both his local franchise, the Stormers as well as the Springboks’ on-field attack. This often means that the room for relaxation is often limited by the demands of the sport. However, after a recent leg niggle that he picked up during the Stormers match against Irish team Leinster in the United Rugby Championship (URC) competition, this seemed to be the perfect time to give his body a break.
The couple recently travelled across the world all the way to the beautiful Island of Thailand where they have been enjoying assuming the role of tourists while exploring the outdoors.
Pictures shared on Instagram show the pair embracing the Asian culture along with its food as they showcased the beauty of the surroundings and all its splendour.

Despite being thousands of kilometres away from home, it appears that his love for rugby simply cannot be removed from his DNA. While there, he spent some time assuming coaching duties by assisting the Thailand Women’s national team as well as some youth with advice on how to excel in the sport.

Some of their other activities included visiting the temple as well as exploring the Island of Kho Samui. Meanwhile, this is not the first time the two have visited the country. Their first trip was last January when they visited Bangkok.
