The Ifa Lomkhono Tour that was to be headlined by actor and singer, Mbuso Khoza has been postponed following his illness with flu.
The jazz singer was meant to kick off his tour on the 3rd of July at Suncoast Barnyard in Durban and finish off at Emperors Palace Barnyard in Johannesburg, on the 7th of August. However the artist confirmed that he will still entertain the crowd at the Silverstar casino, as per his gig guide.
Taking to his Instagram page, the Umlilo singer apologised profusely to his supporters who were anticipating the tour. Captioning his post, Mbuso wrote:
“Ladies and gentlemen humble apologies for the postponement of Ifa Lomkhono Tour. New dates will be announced this coming Saturday, we will still be doing the Silverstar casino,” he noted.

Speaking to an entertainment publication, TshisaLIVE, Mbuso said he needed time to heal.
“My voice isn’t well, and I decided I’ll have to take it easy and not rush things because this situation is not of my own doing. I know how disappointed people are with the postponement of the tour, but it’s nature. It’s my body that isn’t 100%. I felt I should give my body time to recover and give my people the best shows.
“Humble apologies to the people who were looking forward to seeing me perform on those tour dates. My team advises me to change the dates so that I go there with full strength. My voice had problems due to the weather and travelling across the country shooting as an actor. The fatigue and the flu have set me back from taking part in my tour. I don’t want to give my fans something that’s not up to the best of my ability,” said Mbuso.
The artist will kick-off his tour on the 6th of July at Silverstar Casino, Johannesburg; on the 30th of August he will be in Menlyn, Tshwane; on the 16th of October he is expected to serenade his supporters at Suncoast, Durban and his last stop will be at Tyger Valley in Cape Town on the 9th of November.
