
Former YoTV presenter, Merica Monamodi has captured many hearts with the clips taking over the teaching career abroad.
Merica who once graced TV screens every afternoon, now resides in China where she instills knowledge in Grade 2 and 3. In the recent clip she shared on the socials, Merica wakes up at 4 am and goes for a two-hour run before she prepares for work at around 6 am.
In the clip, she reveals that it is the first day of school, and the semester is from the 13th of February to the 13th of June. At 07h30 she makes her way to the bus, which costs her R2,53.
She arrives at her place of work after 15 minutes of her bus trip. She later shares the enthusiasm she received from her Grade 3 class.

Merica took a leap of faith after her stint with YoTV in 2008, where she unlocked her new passion leading her to teach English abroad, and she has been in her Grace Mondlana era about her recent English lessons with her learners.
She is also active on her YouTube channel attracting thousands of followers who enjoy her travelling content. Currently, she utilises her TikTok page to share her day-to-day life in China.
