Ndavi Nokeri, a 23-year-old from Tzaneen, Limpopo, was crowned Miss South Africa 2022 in August 2022 at a glittering pageant finale.
Nokeri also competed in the Miss Universe pageant in January, finishing in the top 16.

As she reflected on her journey, she stated: “I want every young girl and woman to know that you are worthy of being in every single room you imagine yourself in, regardless of your background. That’s the point.”
Stephanie Weil, CEO of the Miss South Africa Organisation had this to say:
“While we are ensuring the Miss South Africa campaign loses none of the attributes fans and followers have come to love,” Weil continues. “We’ve also challenged ourselves to think bigger and better to make certain the Miss South Africa competition grows and evolves and retains relevance and interest in an ever-changing world.”
“I like to think of it as ‘pageantry revolutionised’, so be sure you don’t miss Monday’s announcement to find out what it’s all about!”
The pageant community is delighted as this is an event they look forward to as soon as a new year begins.
