Miss South Africa Ndavi Nokeri penned down a heartfelt message after her Miss Universe journey.
The beauty queen thanked her support system, which not only included her family, but the country at large.
She captioned the post saying:
‘To my family, friends, the genius @werner_wessels, the @official_misssa team @stephweil @schane_fouche @msshezi_ @ta_fadzwa @lisashein , every sponsor and all of South Africa; I am beyond thankful for your constant love and support. I am so proud to be South African.”
“I look forward to getting back to South Africa and to continue the great work we’ve started in changing the educational environment in our nation,” she added.
She also took the opportunity to congratulate the new miss universe winner R’Bonney Gabriel from the US. In addition, Ndavi also offered her congratulations to runner-up Miss Venezuela Amanda Dudamel and second runner-up Miss Dominican Republic Andreina Martinez.
Ndavi was among the contestants in the 70th annual Miss Universe pageant and she made it to the top 16 of the competition.
The beauty queen represented South Africa at the 70th annual Miss Universe pageant where she was up against 84 other countries, which took place in New Orleans in the US.
She was one of the front runners throughout the build-up to the finale.
The show, screened live in South Africa on 1Magic (DStv channel 103), was hosted by American television host and stylist Jeannie Mai and Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo.
