With the recent reveal of the top 30 Miss SA contestants, South Africa will now know who is responsible for the selection as the judging panel has been revealed.
Miss South Africa organisation has recently announced former beauty queen and media personality Lerato ‘LKG’ Kganyago as part of the selection panel alongside 2023 judge, Leandie du Randt and the organisation’s CEO Stephanie Weil.
The trio’s panel duties include narrowing down the number of contestants vying to take over the Miss South Africa crown from the reigning Miss SA, Natasha Joubert.

Speaking to News24 the new member of the judging panel, Lerato said, “Having been closely connected to the world of beauty and fashion, this role feels like a beautiful culmination of my journey in pageantry. It’s not just about assessing beauty; it’s about recognising powerful women who will lead and inspire.”
“This platform resonates deeply with my own experiences and the values I hold dear,” she said.
The organisation said other judges would be announced in the lead-up to this year’s crowning. The viewers will get a closer glimpse of the contestants in the pageant’s six-part reality show when it premiers on S3 (DSTV 193) on Saturday, June 29 at 20:30.
