Former Miss South Africa Jo-Ann Strauss has been announced as the new hostess of this year’s Miss Supranational pageant taking place in Poland.
According to African Insider, the former Miss SA was welcomed as the host of the Miss Supranational by the president of the organisation, Gerhard Parzutska von Lipinski.
“Miss South Africa, Jo-Ann Strauss, will be hosting the Miss and Mister Supranational 2023 Final Shows. Since winning the Miss South Africa title in 2000, Jo-Ann Strauss has catapulted herself using the platform she was given, to a successful career as model, television host, and entrepreneur while using her most important title, mother, to give advice to other mothers with her ‘Modern Mommy’ blog,” Gerhard wrote.
Jo-Ann won the title of Miss South Africa in 2000. Known her charisma and charm, she established herself as a career as a host.
Jo-Ann took to social media to express how excited she was about receiving the opportunity. In her post, she wrote, “I am extremely excited to be traveling to Nowy Sacz, Malopolska to be hosting this year’s Miss and Mister Supranational Final Shows. The values of the organization, especially the ‘Aspirational, Inspirational’ tagline align with my own values and I am so excited to be sharing the experience with candidates that will be vying to become the next brand ambassadors for the Miss and Mister Supranational Organization.”
