Media personality and rapper Boitumelo ‘Boity’ Thulo knows how to stand her ground when it comes to internet trolls. Although some social media users applauded her for her recent clapback, a few others thought it may have been uncalled for.
It all started when the CEO and Mosadi in Business Achievement Award recipient took to X to share her love for the song Ka Valungu by Tebza De DJ and DJ Nomsa The King.
She wrote, “Bathong, this song???? I heard it for the first time this weekend at home in Potch. Everyone lost their marbles… DJ played it like four times! Yoh!!!! New fave!!!!”

Many commented in agreement with Boity. However, there was one commenter whose comment had nothing to do with the music. The social media user instead called Boity out of her name.
