As of today, radio personality Mo Flava is set to embark on a three-day, approximately 116-kilometre walk in the neighbouring country of Lesotho to take part in the annual Moshoeshoe Walk.
With both local and international tourists participating in the event, which was founded in 2007, the historic walk “aims to re-kindle the spirit of unity among Basotho as it is embodied in the legacy left by the founder King Moshoeshoe I,” explains the country’s government.
Mo Flava – whose real name is Moeti Tsiki – shared in a video posted on Instagram that he is constantly on a journey and wanted to challenge himself.
“Yes, I’ve got my gear, shoes, walking stick, my backpacks, all the stuff you need, but I think the emotional and psychological, and what’s in here [pats on chest], your spirit is what I need to get through this walk.”

In the post’s caption, Mo added that his three-day journey would start in Menkhoaneng and end in Thaba Bosiu.
“So much beauty and breathtaking mountain ranges await. It’s a spiritual and physical journey that will test me to the limits,” shared the 947 radio show host.
Mo will not be taking on the strenuous trip alone as he further noted that his father, sister and cousins will be joining him.
Many took to the deejay’s comment section to wish him the best of luck.
One Instagram user wrote, “All the best Mo. It is not an easy one but it is worth it, enjoy each and every pain and make memories. This one is for the books.”
“Good luck my friend. It’s going to be a very spiritual walk,” commented another.
