Social media personality Mohale Motaung was on the trending list after it was speculated that he would soon be walking down the aisle again following a proposal video he posted. However, the reality TV star has since denied the engagement claims after social media sent their congratulatory messages.
Mohale initially took to Twitter (now known as X) to post the video in question. In the 13 second clip, the words “Will you marry me” is shown in multiple colours.

While in conversation with TshisaLIVE, the businessman confirmed that he is not in a relationship, nor is he looking to date. Instead, he is focusing on building his brand and establishing businesses.
“I’m launching my cosmetic range on November 30 and I am also working on a reality show for YouTube. I will be showcasing everything I have been busy with from work and family stuff,” confirmed Mohale.
Commenting on the X video, he said, “People just decided to create that. I took that from someone else. The ring is there because I put it there. There isn’t a love life at all.”
In 2019, Mohale married media mogul Somizi Mhlongo, but the couple soon split in 2021.
TshisaLIVE also reveals that while speaking to Somizi’s legal representatives, the lawyers obtained expert opinion making it clear that the existence of the marriage revealed that “not all customs were complied with.” This means that although Mohale and Somizi celebrated a public wedding, they were never married in the eyes of the law.
