Maskandi musician Mongezi “Mayoghurt” Jama, also known as iBliss kaZwelonke, is on the brink of expanding his fame beyond the music scene. Following his success as a celebrated artist in the Maskandi genre, Mongezi is now stepping into the world of reality television.
A 22-year-old Mongezi is set to captivate audiences in the new season of Mzansi Magic’s Short and Sweet. The show, which is back for season 2, follows the lives of individuals with short stature as they navigate their personal and professional journeys.
Joining the cast this season are some exciting new faces. Joshua Ryan Van Starden, a 23-year-old content creator, brings his digital presence to the show. As well as Zandile, at 29, is working towards opening a traditional chemist where she can sell her water and herbs, contributing to her community with her entrepreneurial spirit as reported by Mzansi Magic.

Mongezi shared with the Daily Sun that he is thrilled to receive the recognition he has long sought finally.
“I will appear on a reality show this year, and many people will learn more about me. The show will highlight my music career and offer a glimpse into my personal life,” he explained.
