Moses Tembe who is a businessman from Durban and father of the late Anele Tembe who was the fiancé of now late slain rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes.
According to Sunday Times Anele died in 2021 from injuries she sustained during a fall from a 10th floor of the hotel balcony, there were many unverified speculations that the rapper pushed Anele causing her to fall.
After the passing of AKA where he was gunshot in Durban, some people were speculating that it was the Tembe family who killed him because they wanted revenge for their daughter.

The Tembe family refuted the claims that they had something to do with AKA’s death but the speculations didn’t stop, the businessman has opted to share a formal statement disputing having any involvement in the killing of AKA.
The statement reads: “these accusations are untrue and without substance”

After Journalist Linda Mnisi shared the statement, tweeps had mixed reactions on it.
Zuko Diniso commented on Twitter saying “Unfortunately for those accusing #Moses_Tembe,there is nothing linking him to the crime scene, a clear it was an inside job within #AKA’s inner circle & someone in that inner circles have all the answers, not Moses Tembe or the hitmen.”
Others feel the family should have kept quiet. Thandokazi Phato commented under the statement saying “This is making people more suspicious, why did they have to release a statement of the passing of AKA and today they are still doing the same….. Something is Hitting the waters. They should have kept quiet.”
