Messages of support came pouring in for the renowned musician, producer and dancer Mr JazziQ.
The 29-year-old, whose real name is Tumelo Manyoni, recently showed off the true spirit of ubuntu by showing his appreciation to his community, offering many of the locals food parcels.
In an Instagram post, the star revealed that it was in fact his 29th birthday, but instead of celebrating it with family and friends or in a way that celebrates him, he added that the community played an important role in transforming him into the person he has become.
In his post, he wrote: “Had to spend my birthday with the community that raised me. Very thankful for all the blessings.”

A gallery of pictures showed him standing in a kitchen filled with groceries and pictured with media personality Robot Boii. Thereafter, he had a meet and greet with many of the locals who approached him to take pictures.
Those in the comment section later praised him for the selfless work he did.
One user wrote: “If it’s giving back, especially to your own community. It’s a beautiful thing, may you never lack!”
“Some are in the position to give back, and they’re not even bothered! But someone once said, ‘Giving is a calling and not everyone is called.’”
Another added: “A true philanthropist. There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching out and lifting people up. Danko Mr JazziQ.”
Though many may be surprised to witness his giving hand, this is not the first time he helped someone in need. Last year, entertainment publication Zimoja revealed that he paid to help a young man get his tumour removed.
