Amapiano DJ and producer Tumelo Manyoni, popularly known as Mr JazziQ, is set to host billionaire boxing legend Floyd Mayweather on his tour of Africa in his hometown of Alexandra.
According to ZiMoja, Floyd will visit Alexandra – South Africa’s oldest township – on 16 July as part of his Motherland Tour. The retired boxer shared his visit to Zimbabwe on Instagram, captioning his post, “Enjoying the Motherland Tour. Thank you Zimbabwe for embracing me with open arms.”

Speaking to ZiMoja, Mr JazziQ said, “We are extremely excited to be hosting one of my icons at a place that raised me. The plan is to take him through the whole Alex experience. Take him to the places that birthed.”
He added, “We are taking Amapiano to the world and by that we also want people to experience the vibes here in South Africa.”
The businessman also told the publication that he is invested in creating employment. “It’s not just about having a good time. But I’m all about building the township, creating employment while we party.”
Mr JazziQ will also be hosting Floyd at his newly opened restaurant, Vibes on Main, before heading off to perform in America for his ‘USA Tour Debut’ which starts on 22 July in Washington DC and ends on 6 August in Los Angeles.
