Congratulations are in order to Mr and Mrs MacGyver Mukwevho who tied the knot over the weekend.
The Podcast and Chill with MacG founder and his wife Naledi Monamodi have been together for many years. The pair got engaged in July this year at a live podcast recording that took place at Pretoria’s Sunbet Arena after the podcast reached a staggering one million Youtube subscribers in April.
Standing in front of a crowd of Chillers (Podcast and Chill fans and followers), MacG spoke highly of his then girlfriend before going down on one knee. He said:
“Before all of this happened, there was a lady by my side, who stood next to me and told me, ‘Baby, you can do this!’ She told me, ‘Baby, there’s no one else who can do this. When we just had an iPad, she did the first show. When I was out, broke and didn’t have any money, I crashed at her apartment. It was as big as this corner right here, but we chilled and she stuck with me. She’s the only woman who loved me when I didn’t have a show when I was a nobody. Man, the stories that I can tell you about this lady, it’s f*%king incredible.”
The pair are blessed with one son named Ziggy.
Shared on TikTok by the account @izindaba zabantu_returns, the couple can be seen dancing in a video at their traditional wedding celebration.
