Myleene Klass has been declared the winner I’m a Celebrity… South Africa after gruesome eating trial.

The 45 year old star is no stranger to the I’m a Celebrity… franchise, with her first appearing in 2006 cycle of the British version of the show. She is the first celebrity to have won the title of I’m a Celebrity Legend after being crowned the winner of the all-stars series.

Following her success, the musician stated that, “I had a ball the first time. This time round, I’m a mum and that changes everything.”

“You don’t want to let your children down, you don’t want to say something that will embarrass them. You don’t want to bottle out of a trial”, she further added.

She later revealed that her kids were excited to see her on the show.

Myleene praised the I’m a Celebrity… franchise, claiming that she returned to the show because she is grateful for what the show has given her.

She told The Sun newspaper: “The jungle back in Australia gave me my family, gave me my work, gave me my career. I wanted to go to the bush as I wanted to say thank you for what the jungle has given me.”

She admits that she was afraid to return to the jungle citing extra pressure as the reason.

Despite the intense pressure and missing her kids, Myleene persevered, eventually winning the crown.

Runner-up Jordan Banjo, 30, praised his co-star, saying: “Myleene is one tough cookie; she smashed everything that came her way.”
