Condolence messages continue to pour in following the death of South African musician Shebeshxt’s 9-year-old daughter.

Sunday World reported that Shebeshxt was in the company of three other passengers when their Volkswagen Polo collided with a truck and overturned.

While the other passenger sustained moderate injuries, the 9-year-old sadly succumbed to hers.

Shebeshxt was treated for urgent injuries at the scene, before being rushed to the hospital, the report said.

According to The Citizen, the tragic incident took place on Saturday, on the R37 road alongside Smelters Mine, in Limpopo.

The musician was en route to perform at an ANC Siyanqoba Rally concert, in Lebowakgomo, which had been scheduled for Sunday, the 9th of June.

This is the second serious car accident the musician has had this year. The first occurred in January when his brand-new Golf GTI was written off.

Many condolences have poured in on social media, as supporters were left in shock upon hearing the news:

“Sending prayers to Shebeshxt and his family, judging is for God our assignment is to love and pray for others. May the love comfort them in this difficult time, said humanitarian BI Phakathi.”
