Singer, dancer and presenter Denise Zimba has garnered the country’s attention as they look on to see what will become of the matter involving her German ex-husband and custody of their young children.
The Denise Zimba saga has been a rollercoaster of emotions and reactions from onlookers and supporters. It all began when the Women for Change revealed their support for the media personality, citing the Johannesburg High Court’s decision to rule in favour of her former partner taking their two children, aged five and 19 months old, to return to Germany where their father resides.
However, the intricate details of the case were soon revealed to the masses, who then concluded that this matter was a result of Denise receiving horrible legal advice. This comes after it was revealed that the decision made by the court was backed by the fact that Denise had travelled with her children for a holiday in South Africa, and when the time to return to Germany with them came, she failed to oblige.
The matter has become somewhat complicated for mzansi, as it appears that this is not a custody battle, but a matter of Denise ‘kidnapping’ the children from the country that they are deemed as citizens of. However, the cheating saga that emerged last year when Denise alleged that her then-husband had an affair with her best friend of 14 years has made the public greatly sympathise with Denise as things appear to keep getting worse for her.
The public has labelled Denise’s former partner as the villain in the story, as they believe that separating these young children from their primary caregiver and mother is not the ethical thing to do, and will most likely negatively affect the innocent children. Furthermore, they cite the cheating scandal as reason enough for the courts to rule in favour of Denise, as this whole situation has visibly caused her distress.
Just read the post about Denise Zimba and I had to read it again to confirm I’m understanding it correctly. How does a court rule in favour of a cheating husband for custody, worse allow him to take her minor girl children overseas without their mother? Nope she needs to appeal!

However, some users have come out to stand against Denise, labelling her actions as irresponsible, which has thus resulted in her current predicament. These users shared.
One thing I find amusing about this app is how masses rally behind a position pretending to have the facts. In all this we will even insult & stand with the “victim” & conclude on who is wrong etc. the Denise Zimba case is one such example.
1. The cheating is an allegation.

This Denise Zimba story reminds me that most women don’t see fathers as real parents.
Only as financiers.
Don’t expect fairness or sympathy from most women when your child’s mother breaks the law when it comes to your children.

if a man had done what Denise Zimba did, he would’ve trended the entire weekend, lost current and future opportunities and canceled for LIFE.
