Recording artist and internet sensation Naledi Aphiwe Myongwane’s reputation and likeability appear to be on the line after she was sent off stage by fans who were opposed to her performing over maskandi artist Gatsheni.
The ordeal comes shortly after MaWhoo’s sister called out the youngster, Amahle alleged that Naledi sacrificed her own mother in return for money and fame, including working with international superstar Chris Brown. Furthermore, Amahle claims that Naledi’s efforts were in vain as her career has become stagnant, with other artists refusing to work with her.

The Naledi Aphiwe hate train appears to be gaining more momentum as her performance at Mthandeni’s Summer Experience was cut short after concert goers threw bottles at her on stage until she was escorted off stage.
The reason behind such appalling actions is currently up in the air as some goers report that it was due to Naledi’s team cutting off ‘Hit after hit’ hitmaker Gatsheni while he was still performing. However, others believe that Gatsheni’s set had lapsed into Naledi’s time slot, while fans were still calling for an encore, forcing Naledi’s team to begin her performance before the maskandi fan favourite could wrap up.

Internet users are divided when it comes to this situation as some believe that Naledi Aphiwe and her team are arrogant and have no respect for fellow artists, while others have rushed to defend her, claiming that she was cued in by the dj, and therefore was never in the wrong.
Other user’s on the other hand were more concerned about Naledi’s survival skills, or the lack thereof, as she continued to perform while dangerous objects were thrown her way, until she was forcefully escorted off.
I’m not sure if it’s arrogance or confidence, artists are standing there confused wena you start performing infront of them as if they’re not there because you were told to do so?she doesn’t even fear those bottles thrown at her, mina I’d have ran for my life

Stage management failed both Gatsheni and Naledi, Time allocation has to be respected

Users have also advised and encouraged the youngster to seek a new management team, as her current one has not tapped into her full potential and taken advantage of her clout, simultaneously putting her in compromising situations such as this one.
Taking to his own social media, Gatsheni has given his account of the unfortunate situation, revealing that he believes that Naledi’s team cut his performance short to display just how much power and influence they have over others. However, things did not go according to their plans and expectations. Continuing, Gatsheni reiterated despite popular belief, there is no bad blood between him and fellow maskandi artist Mthandeni, who hosted an event of great calibre but was overshadowed by one horrible incident.
Lastly, the ‘Emendweni’ hitmaker condemned the fans’ actions, revealing the possible consequences of such a dangerous stunt, which include damaging equipment and, worse, injury.
