Instant singing sensation and high school learner Naledi Aphiwe has been the talk of town since featuring on Chris Brown’s new album 11:11, on a song titled Shooter.
The young learner from KwaZulu – Natal is currently enjoying her stardom, not only featuring on an international song, but also being acknowledged as one of the writers.
Naledi was also recently honoured by her school Khethokuhle Senior Secondary School, situated at Inanda, in New Town, Durban.
It was at this same school where Naledi and her classmates sang the song that touched the Indigo hitmaker, getting her instant fame and recognition. The song speaks of a child who is sexually molested by her father, a very relevant topic in a country that struggles with gender based violence and rape.
Sharing the news of the certificate of appreciation honour with her fast growing social media followers, the high school learner wrote:
“Your girl got an appreciation certificate at school for being their school icon 🥹👏🏻❤️this is a big flex man ,thank you so much Khethokuhle ❤️🥹👏🏻🫶.”
