Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo, known professionally as Nasty C is a South African-born rapper who came onto the scene as a mere 16-year-old boy from Durban with a story to tell. The now 27-year-old rapper has established himself as one of the greatest hip-hop acts to come out of the country and is venturing into the world of fashion with a collaboration with the brand Ellesse.
Ellesse is an Italian brand that was extremely popular in South Africa throughout the early 2000s, and making a comeback as a trendy brand today. According to their website, “The brand is friendly and flirtatious, never taking things too seriously. Humour, playfulness and spontaneity are an essential part of the ellesse make-up whether on the court, the slopes or the street.”
The news comes shortly after the rapper’s highly anticipated collaboration with the Skhanda Gawd K.O ‘Too much’ dropped and is available to stream on all platforms, as well as an electrifying performance at the Durban leg of the ‘Friends of Amstel’ event.
In a joint post, the brand and the rapper shared the exciting news of their upcoming collaboration via an Instagram post with the caption “The wait is over! Nasty C is teaming up with @ellesseSA for an epic partnership. Get ready for the ultimate blend of music, fashion, and style! #NastyCxEllesseSA

This collaboration is a big step in Nasty C’s career as he is exclusively known for his music, particularly his unique ability to ride a beat with a versatile cadence. Dabbling into fashion is exciting not only for him as an artist but for his audience as they will get to see him in a different light. Ellesse makes fun, trendy and stylish pieces, and it will be refreshing to see how the rapper incorporates his own style with the brand’s own.
