After pleading with Nasty C to release new music, fans were blessed with the rapper’s new song Better Than This, featuring Tellaman and Manana, ahead of his impending album.
The rapper, born Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo, released the track on Thursday, 22 June, and also announced that studio sessions for the song will be coming soon.

Nasty C also asked fans to dance and “come up with something funky” that he can post on his social media platforms. He added, “The problem is, I can’t dance. If I could, I would’ve done a video, I would’ve done a bunch of TikToks and post them… But I don’t know how to dance.”

In a separate video, the Bookoo Bucks hitmaker shared a video of what went down at a photoshoot session he had for his upcoming album. He wore garments from G-Star Raw and Jonathan D. In the video, he says, “I wish brands like Ambush, Ami, Margiela would be like, ‘Keep this.'”
He continued, “It’s gonna get there though, one day. I think right now to them I’m still a small boy, but it’s alright.”
The rapper also previewed some music, saying afterwards, “This is Nasty C and it’s officially a wrap for all the album stuff — so, like, the visualizers and the still images. It’s a wrap until we go to another country and do it all again, which is Japan, very soon. It’s a wrap, for now.”
He also mentioned that he feels nervous about how people will react to the album. “The one thing that I’m really anxious and nervous about, is seeing people’s reaction to the album. I hope it really connects and makes sense to them, you know.”
The video concluded with Nasty C saying, “With this album, I’m not tryna chase no sound, I’m not tryna f****n please no certain crowd or hype train or whatever. I’m really just speaking from my heart, and I hope that’s where it lands.”
