Reigning Miss South Africa Mia Le Roux will soon walk the Miss Universe stage knowing full well that millions of South Africans are supporting her back home.
This comes as former title holder Natasha Joubert recently took to Instagram asking the rest of mzansi to rally among their representatives ahead of the global pageantry event.
On the social media platform, Natasha, who has spent considerable time with Mia during her time on the reality series Crown Chasers, shared just how much Mia has been occupying her thoughts in recent days.
“These past few days I’ve been thinking about Mia so much! Let’s keep our girl in our prayers! She nailed her interview! WE LOVE YOU & we are proud of you! Let’s back her for prelims and finals these next few days,” she wrote.
She later added a picture of the two warmly embracing one another as Mia confidently showed off her infectious smile.

In August this year, Mia made history by becoming South Africa’s first-ever deaf Miss South Africa winner. Despite her hearing disability, there are certainly no limits to the amount of impact she has and will have in the future.
As part of the Miss Universe Voice for Change initiative, she will present her Mia Le Roux Movement which advocates for deaf individuals in mzansi and raises awareness about inclusion.
The current title holder is currently in Mexico where she will compete for the coveted crown and has taken her followers along on the journey showcasing all her fashionable outfits and experiences she has had during this time.
